Ben Kerber is a senior at Normal Community High School and a member of the Ironmen football team. He is a staff writer in his first year working with the Inkspot.

The Ironmen won the Intercity title, going undefeated in the annual tournament to kickoff the 2023-24 season. Intercity, head coach Mr. Dave Witzig said, is not an easy way to go into your season. You show up and theres 2000 fans. Its a good experience for our guys to handle it right off the bat.
