About the Contributors
Ben Wylde, Chief Opinion Editor
Ben Wylde is a senior at NCHS that plays baseball and basketball and is a member of geography club and I-club. This is Ben’s third year as a journalism student and is likely to be the chief opinion editor this year for the Inkspot.
Biggest Pet Peeve
The biggest peeve I have is when I have a teacher that is writing on the board with short sleeves who also is not working out their triceps and when he/she writes on the board the droopy unused tissue flaps back and forth.
Slogan to Live by
The slogan I live by is, “Rock the boat, don’t rock the boat, baby. Rock the boat, don’t tip the boat over.”
Guilty Pleasure
My guilty pleasure is the Carnitas Nachos dish at Fiesta Ranchera (which is not on the menu) that tingles my taste buds and soothes any discomfort I may have.
Saaud Zuberi, News Desk
Saaud Zuberi (Saaud rhymes with loud, Zuberi is pronounced like zoo berry) is a NCHS junior. Mr. Zuberi is a really nice person. He has to be nice; he’s Canadian. Well, he was at least born in Canada, but was raised in London. London is a small town in Kentucky. Saaud moved to Normal before third grade. His life is hard, but it’s pretty fun too. In fact, it’s more fun than a snake dosey-doeing with a monkey in a fish barrel full of greased pigs. He recently learned how to use semicolons; he enjoys them very much.
Natalie Trumbull, Staff Reporter
Natalie is a junior at NCHS who manages to focus on her studies and the fun of being a teenager simultaneously. She is a second year journalism student with a love for graphic design.
Random Fact About Me
Although I have a very large personality, I will forever be four foot eight. The best things come in small packages.
