Athlete of the Week: Josh Fujimoto

Season Stats: Josh helped his team win Intercity and Conference. He placed 1st in Sectionals in the 500 Yard Freestyle and finished 4th in State in the event.

Favorite Subject: Chemistry

Favorite Movie: “The Shawshank Redemption”

Fun Fact: Josh has no other swimmers in his family.

Biggest Strength as a Swimmer: Josh is very devoted to what he does, and he knows what he has to do to improve as a swimmer.

Favorite Moment of Career: Josh’s favorite moment is making it to State this year.

Hardest Part of Swimming: “Keeping your mind in the right place … focusing on yourself and the race you’re about to swim.”

Post-Grad Plans: Josh plans to swim in college. He is looking at West Virginia University and The University of Kentucky.
