Iron dance team’s IDTA success [video]

The Lady Iron Dance team won the IDTA State titles for their lyrical and hip-hop routines in the AAA division in March 2021.

With only nine days before the team’s first competition of the year to choreograph, rehearse, and perform their lyrical routine, and with even less time to learn their hip-hop piece, the dancers spun into gear — turning out stunning performances.

NCHS head dance coach Mrs. Mindy Ewalt and senior dancer Morgan Kline reflect on their experiences during this highly unusual season.
