Manning breaks record at Big 12 Indoor

Senior Courtney Manning broke the triple jump record at the Girl’s Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship on Monday, March 9th. Manning posted a jump of 35 feet and 11 and 3/4 inches to break the previous meet record. Manning also won the 400 Meter Dash, with a time of 1:01.58,and 60 Meter Hurdles, with a time of 9.52.

Senior Brooke Catherine added wins in the High Jump, with a jump of 4’10”, and Pole Vault, with a vault of 12’6″, while junior Danielle Beckstead won the 800 Meter Run.

Sophomore Nikki Ogorek finished second to Catherine in the Pole Vault, while Kathryn Baxter(10) finished third in High Jump.

Normal Community finished second in the meet, finishing just four points behind Danville.
