Our Goal
IF YOU SHARE THE INKSPOT'S PASSION for empowering Normal Community's aspiring journalists and equipping them with viable and valuable digital media skills, please consider contributing to our cause.
Your support plays a vital role in enabling the Inkspot to invest in top-tier equipment, maintain memberships in distinguished professional organizations such as the Journalism Education Association and National Scholastic Press Association, send our students to compete at state and national contests, and attend the National High School Journalism Convention.
Your generosity is the key to providing these students with a truly enriching educational experience. THANK YOU.

My all-time dream is to become a hard-working Child Psychiatrist and release a couple of clothing lines. What inspires me are the people around me. On the weekend I like to read, write, and spend time with my family and friends.
Jessica Dougall, Staff Reporter
Jessica Dougall is a senior at Normal Community High School who is part of Best Buddies. She is working with the Inkspot as a staff reporter for the first time this year. I am interested in attending Illinois State University next year. A random fact about me is that I enjoy taking photos.
Sydney Franklin, Staff Reporter
Sydney Franklin is a senior at Normal Community High School and a four-year member of the Track & Field team. This is her first year working with the Inkspot as a staff reporter.
The farthest I've been from home is Peru - to visit my mom's family. A random fact about me is that I snowboard. My biggest pet peeve is when I can hear people breathing very loud.
