On the Spot: Luck or Lore [video]

Where do Community stand on superstition?

Taylor Swift has a lot–the most number one albums by a woman in history, the second largest week of vinyl sales of modern times, the first concert tour to gross $1 billion, Travis Kelce…

One thing she doesn’t have?

Triskaidekaphobia.

A fear of the number 13.

For Swift, the number is akin to a good luck charm, a talisman.

However, for others, 13, especially Friday the 13th is a cause for concern. A harbinger of doom.

From shattered mirrors and spilled salt to black cats crossing your path and opening umbrellas indoors, the Inkspot took to the halls to see where Community stands on superstitions.

Zachary Knox-Doyle, Senior Staff Reporter
Zachary Knox-Doyle is a junior at Normal Community High School and plays on the school's tennis team. He is a Senior Staff Reporter at the Inkspot. One of my biggest inspirations is Candace Parker because of her insane skills on the basketball court, never back down attitude and the work she's done for ESPN behind the mic. I am most comfortable and content when I'm playing tennis and basketball simply for the love of the sport.
Marielsie Iglesias
Marielsie Iglesias, Senior Staff Reporter
