Trailblazing success: Community’s girls basketball program marks milestones over three-year run
While over 100 teams are set to participate in the inaugural season of flag football, Community isnt likely to field a team until the 2025-26 school year. Community is one of over 35 teams that looks to participate in the IHSAs sophomore flag football season, along with other Big 12 schools Bloomington and Urbana. BN Boys Lacrosse starts season 0-3
Maddie Ummel lead Community at the plate in average at .458 and extra-base hits with four doubles. However, the team has struggled to hit with runners in scoring position, stranding 50 baserunners.

Saaud Zuberi, News Desk

Saaud Zuberi (Saaud rhymes with loud, Zuberi is pronounced like zoo berry) is a NCHS junior. Mr. Zuberi is a really nice person. He has to be nice; he’s Canadian. Well, he was at least born in Canada, but was raised in London. London is a small town in Kentucky. Saaud moved to Normal before third grade. His life is hard, but it’s pretty fun too. In fact, it’s more fun than a snake dosey-doeing with a monkey in a fish barrel full of greased pigs. He recently learned how to use semicolons; he enjoys them very much.
