Preview: Orchestra performs spring concert May 15

An orchestra concert will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at the NCHS auditorium. The event will feature NCHS’s orchestras and will be directed by NCHS’ Melissa Siebenthal and Bradley University Student Teacher Lindsay Kozlowski.

The concert will begin at 7 pm and requires no admission cost for viewers to come see the show. The concert will also serve as a senior night for those seniors leaving NCHS this spring. After the show, audience members and musicians will be provided snacks as a part of a reception honoring the seniors leaving NCHS.

4 Orchestras will be playing the concert: the Concert Orchestra, the Sinfonia Orchestra, the Intermezzo Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra. The event will feature many different musical pieces such as Cello Concerto in E Minor,  Op.85 as performed by the Chamber Orchestra and American Reel as performed by the Intermezzo Orchestra.

The orchestra concert remains open for all people to join the audience and listen to the last musical pieces played by the NCHS orchestra for the year.
