While over 100 teams are set to participate in the inaugural season of flag football, Community isnt likely to field a team until the 2025-26 school year. Community is one of over 35 teams that looks to participate in the IHSAs sophomore flag football season, along with other Big 12 schools Bloomington and Urbana. The boys swim team earned its second straight Sectional title and advanced seven competitors to State at the Pekin Sectional Meet on Feb. 18. Coach Heather Budak was named Sectional Coach of the Year at the competition.

The boys swim team took home first-place honors at the Pekin Swimming and Diving Sectional on Saturday, advancing seven athletes to the IHSA State Competition on Feb. 24-25.
