Kenna Malinowski has tied the Iron girls basketball program's single-season three point record with 85 triples. The senior's consistency has been a key factor in the team's success this season. While Malinowski is the Iron's leading scorer, averaging 10.9 points a game, she also limits other teams' chances. The senior has just 21 turnovers in 722 minutes of play, leads the team in deflections (61) and is second in steals (62), blocks (11) and defensive rebounds (80). Zachary Ziemer is a junior at Normal Community. Zachary is on the cross country and track teams, a member of the chess club and a staff writer for the Inkspot.

A few fun facts about me are that I’ve never flown on a plane, I play chess at a state level and enjoy watching old movies.

My favorite film ever has to be “Paper Moon.”

In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and hanging out with my friends.
