Teen Wolf

Teen Wolf

Teen Wolf is aired on MTV every Monday at 9 PM.  The show is going into its third season this summer, allowing plenty of time to catch up before then.  Each season contains roughly 12 episodes and can be found on Netflix or at majority of places that sell or rent television shows on DVD.

The show focuses on Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), who is an average guy.  He isn’t a social outcast but isn’t the king of the hill either.  He lives with his single mother, jokes around with his best friend, Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O’Brian), and dreams of being a star on his lacrosse team.

Scott’s normal world is shattered when he is attacked in the woods that surround his town, Beacon Hills.  All at once—he hears better, sees better; picks up more smells, and can do the physically impossible.  Scott goes from sitting each lacrosse game on the bench to winning team captain.  In his opinion, life couldn’t get better.

Scott’s gift turns into a curse though when other changes begin to occur all of which surround the full moon each month.  With help from Stiles and the super mysterious Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin), Scott gets a peek behind the curtain into a world he never knew existed.

This world is dangerous, and it seems to be specifically targeting Scott. The seasons follow him as he tries to mix his not so normal abilities with everyday activities.  Along the way, Scott and Stiles have to outsmart a terrible foe and decide just whom they can trust.

Teen Wolf is filled with suspense, humor, and a plot line that makes it great.  It is completely worth catching up on before season three starts this summer.
