Multimedia: Musical bananas

Lunch and Learn explores robotics with the U of I Extension instructors.

  • NCHS student Sid Panda (9) is a Teen Teacher, a volunteer who work with the University of Illinois Extension Office to help kids learn about robotics. Panda wants to teach young kids about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

  • Bananas are turned into a piano through the use of coding. The robotic device attached can connect to anything that conducts electricity and turn it into a musical instrument.

  • Instructors from the University of Illinois Extension Office attended Lunch and Learn to teach students about robotics.

  • Laura Holland from the University of Illinois Extension Office helps NCHS student Saisu Talasu (9) to use drawing robot.

David is a senior at NCHS, he is a first year staff reporter for the Inkspot. David is involved in Film Club and enjoys playing hockey. I am most comfortable when I'm playing video games, skateboarding, or watching a movie. A slogan I live by is be the best at what you do. A random fact about me is that I like to buy airsoft guns and have battles with my friends.
