The Lady Iron soccer team hosted the 5th annual “Kick it for Max” benefit during the program’s games against Naperville Central on Saturday, May 7.
Proceeds from the fundraiser were donated to the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders in honor of Max Chapman, the nephew of head soccer coach Mr. Matt Chapman.
Max has PBD (also known as Zellweger Spectrum Disorder), a rare genetic disorder that impacts his vision, hearing and general physical development.
