  • Riley Prall’s favorite memory from her time at Normal Community is watching court case and participating in a mock trial in Mr. Jason Drengwitz’s Business Law class. She will also look back fondly on the connections and relationships made at NCHS. In the fall, Riley will be attending Illinois State University to major in Psychology. Congratulations, Riley!

  • Peytan Corcoran was involved with the Lady Iron Softball, Cross Country, and Track & Field programs during her time at Normal Community. She also will look back fondly on time spent at Iron Football games, and on seeing people that she grew up with everyday. Peytan wishes her classmates the best, and will be heading to Heartland Community College herself, studying to become a Physical Therapist’s assistant. Congratulations, Peytan!

  • During her time at Normal Community, Simone Price was part of the widely successful Iron Dance Team, winning state titles and qualifying for national finals. Simone will miss hanging out with her friends everyday and seeing them often. After graduating from NCHS in December, Simone has worked as a CNA, something that she’s found extremely rewarding. This fall, Simone will be attending the University of South Carolina Upstate, majoring in Pre-Nursing. Congratulations, Simone!

  • Mason Burns competed on the baseball diamond, on the golf course, and in the swimming pool during his four years as an Ironman. After earning a scholarship to ISU, he will continue his athletic endeavors with the Division I baseball team while balancing a finance major and accounting minor as a Redbird. Congratulations, Mason!

  • Sarah Harsh was a part of Key of She, Choir, and the Lady Iron Softball program during her time at NCHS. She enjoyed football games, spirit weeks, and having lunch with friends. Sarah also will fondly remember Ms. Kaitlyn Baez’s English III class. She will be attending Mississippi State University in the fall, majoring in Psychology and Criminology. Congratulations, Sarah!

  • Sydney LaForest was involved with the Lady Iron Swim Team, Peer Leadership, National Honor Society, Computer Science Honor Society, and Student Council. She will miss the chicken nuggets from the NCHS Cafeteria, and also look back fondly on when she nominated Jenna Merrill for Homecoming Queen as a joke, and she ended up winning. Sydney will be attending Michigan Technological University in the fall to major in Civil Engineering. Congratulations, Sydney!

  • Kayla Cobb’s favorite part of being an NCHS Ironmen was being able to interact with and meet different and unique people each day. She also looks back fondly on spending time with friends, and attending Ironmen Football games. This fall, Kayla will be attending the University of Missouri, majoring in Health Professions. Congratulations, Kayla!

  • Hannah Bryant was a proud member of the NCHS Concert Bands and the Normal Marching Band during her time as an Ironmen. One of her favorite memories from four years as a band student included the 2019 Wind Ensemble trip to New York. She also will look back fondly on the teachers that left an impact on her. In the fall, Hannah will be attending Heartland Community College to major in Zoology. Congratulations, Hannah!

  • Ellie Strubhar’s most memorable moments as an NCHS Ironmen were running onto the football field after the Iron Football team beat Normal West both her junior and senior years. She also fondly remembers dressing up for homecoming week spirit days. Ellie was involved with Best Buddies and National Honor Society at Normal Community. Ellie will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to major in Agricultural Accounting this fall. Congratulations, Ellie!

  • During her time as an Ironmen, Ashley Bengtson was a part of the Lady Iron Swim & Dive team that took home 4th place at the 2017 IHSA State Meet, as well as amassing a variety of honors and awards. In addition to time spent on the swim team, Ashley will also fondly remember spending time with friends during lunch, as well as her beloved chocolate brownies. She was also a part of Student Council, Class Board, and Spanish Club. Ashley will continue her aquatics career as a Division I swimmer at Iowa State, where she will major in Kinesiology on a Pre-Med track. Congratulations, Ashley!

  • Anya Weber’s favorite memory from her time as an NCHS Ironmen are all of the long bus rides and meets spend with Lady Iron Swim & Dive teammates. Outside the pool, she was a part of Not in Our School, Fashion Club, iClub, Environmental Club and Spanish Club. Anya also played violin in the State Champion NCHS Orchestras, and will miss Mrs. Melissa Siebenthal along with the camaraderie of the orchestra. Anya will be continuing her diving pursuits as a Division I Diver at Georgia Southern University, where she will be studying Psychology. Congratulations, Anya!

  • Olivia Casino’s favorite memories during her time at NCHS included cheering on the Iron Football team during Friday Night Lights. She will also look back fondly on spending time with her friends. She was involved with the Lady Iron Softball team during her time at NCHS. Olivia will be attending Heartland Community College in the fall, majoring in Health Sciences and Animal Sciences. Congratulations, Olivia!

  • Lilly Pampel’s favorite moments as an Ironmen came when she attended After Prom, during her freshman and sophomore years – especially spending time with friends and the great food. As an Ironmen, she was involved with NCHS Theatre and the International Thespian Society. In the fall, Lilly will be attending Eastern Illinois University, where she is considering majoring in Communications or Public Relations. Congratulations, Lilly!

  • Emma Yard’s favorite memory from her time at NCHS is going to get coffee and food with friends during blended class periods. She also will miss being able to see her friends every day. Emma was involved with the Lady Iron Basketball and Lacrosse programs, as well as the Penguin Project. This fall, Emma will be attending Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis to major in Forensic Science and minor in Biology. Congratulations, Emma!

  • Lexia Whalen’s most memorable moments as an Ironmen came at Friday Night Lights with friends and late night meetings with her FFA teammates. She was involved with FFA for four years, and also served on the leadership team her senior year. Lexia will miss seeing her friends and favorite teachers every day. Lexia will be studying Biology and Animal Science at St. Petersburg College next fall. Congratulations, Lexia!
