  • Lady Iron Soccer star and captain Grace Spader’s favorite memory from her time at NCHS was playing soccer with sister Emma. In addition to playing soccer with her team, Grace was also involved with Student Council, Iron PAC, Best Buddies, and Spanish Club. As well as making lifelong friendships, she will also fondly remember the delicious sugar cookies from the cafeteria. In the fall, Grace will be continuing her passion on the pitch, playing soccer at Florida Southern University, where she will major in Nursing. Congratulations, Grace!

  • Kaitlyn Dage’s favorite memory from her time at Normal Community is being able to play soccer with her bestfriends. On the pitch, Kaitlyn is Lady Iron Soccer’s 2019-20 captain; off the field, she also loved the team spirit: bus rides, trips to Burlington, Iowa for the Tournament of Champions, and team dinners. Outside of soccer, Kaitlyn was also involved with National Honor Society, Key Club, iClub, Best Buddies, and the Lady Iron Volleyball program. Kaitlyn will be heading to the University of Iowa this fall, majoring in Biology on a Pre-Med track. Congratulations, Kaitlyn!

  • During her time as an Ironmen, Elizabeth DeVecchi was deeply involved with the Lady Iron Soccer Program. Her most beloved moments at NCHS came spending time on and off the field with her teammates, including the bus rides to and from games, and going to Burlington, Iowa for the Tournament of Champions. She also loved watching football, basketball, and soccer games with close friends. Elizabeth will continue her passion on the field at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, where she will play soccer and major in Criminology. Congratulations, Elizabeth!

  • Kaelynn McClure will miss making memories with friends at NCHS, seeing her favorite teachers everyday, and going to Iron Football games on Friday nights. She was a part of the Lady Iron Soccer program, and will look back fondly on playing soccer with her teammates and participating in team traditions, like the 3v3 Tournament, and other team building activities. Off the pitch, Kaelynn was involved with Social Studies Club, French Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Kaelynn will be attending Taylor University in the fall, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Legal Studies. Congratulations, Kaelynn!

  • Getting dressed up and going to homecoming and prom with friends are the standout moments of Haley Redman’s four years as an Ironmen. Haley will also look back on Homecoming Spirit Week and the football game as fond memories of NCHS. She was involved with National Honor Society, Best Buddies, Student Council, and the Lady Iron Softball program. Haley will be attending the University of Iowa this fall, majoring in Pre-Med. Congratulations, Haley!

  • Sydni Gratkins will miss the environment at Normal Community, as well as the teachers she had in class. She also enjoyed going to Iron Football games on Friday Nights with her friends. In the fall, Sydni will be attending Illinois State University to major in Nursing. Congratulations, Sydni!

  • As an Ironmen, Danielle Ferrante was a part of both the Lady Iron Cross Country and Lady Iron Track teams. In addition to her athletic pursuits, Danielle’s favorite memories from her time at NCHS include going to football games, dances, and making new friends. She will also miss the sprinkled brownies from the cafeteria. Danielle will be studying Nursing at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in the fall. Congratulations, Danielle!

  • Taylor O’Day’s favorite memories from her time at NCHS were going to Ironmen Football games on Friday Nights with her friends. SHe will also miss the brownies and chocolate chip cookies from the cafeteria. In her time at NCHS, Taylor was involved with the Iron Cheer program and Generation Connect Club. Taylor will be attending Illinois Wesleyan University in the fall, majoring in Pre-Nursing. Congratulations, Taylor!

  • Kendall McPherson’s most memorable high school moments came attending Ironmen Football games on Friday Nights. She will also fondly look back on times spent with the Iron Dance team, as well as seeing her junior friends every day. In the fall, Kendall will be heading to the University of Arizona to major in Pre-Nursing. Congratulations, Kendall!

  • Ben Brown represented Normal Community on the baseball diamond during his high school years. He formed unforgettable memories during the 2019 Gulf Shores, Alabama trip with the Ironmen Baseball team. Ben cherished his time spent with friends and will miss sneaking into the NCHS weight room to get in an extra workout. Attending Rose-Hulman next fall, he will be working toward a degree in Civil Engineering. Congratulations, Ben!

  • Taylor Griffin’s favorite memories from her time has an Ironmen came when going to New York and performing at Carnegie Hall with the NCHS Bands. In addition to concert band, she was also a part of the Normal Marching Band. Taylor will miss days spent at Marching Band, as well as the friends she made at NCHS. Taylor will be studying Science and Mathematics at Georgia Southern University in the fall. Congratulations, Taylor!

  • As an Ironmen, Ethan Johnson was a three-sport athlete, competing on the Iron Football, Wrestling, and Track & Field teams. His favorite memory came on the gridiron, when Grant Miller picked off the Normal West quarterback during the rivalry game his senior year. He will also fondly remember summer football workouts. Ethan will be continuing his football career at Lindenwood University in the fall, where he will be studying Education. Congratulations, Ethan!

  • Anirudh Naruboina’s favorite memory from his time at Normal Community was going to football games with friends and attending school dances. He will also fondly recount being able to see his friends every day. As an Ironmen, he was involved with the Iron Tennis program, Peer Leadership, and various volunteering organizations. Anirudh will be attending Saint Louis University in the fall to major in Biology on a Pre-Med track. Congratulations, Anirudh!

  • Emma Conklin-Yokel’s favorite memories from her time at Normal Community are all from her time as a part of the Lady Iron Soccer program, including 3v3 team tournaments, going to Burlington, Iowa for the Tournament of Champions, or singing Party in the USA on bus rides on the home from away games. Off the field, Emma was also involved with Younglife, Key Club, iClub, National Honor Society, Class Board, and the cross country team. She will fondly remember many memories spent with the lifelong friends made at Normal Community. In the fall, Emma will be studying Engineering at Purdue University, where she will also be a part of the Honors College. Congratulations, Emma!

  • Andy Kosinski’s favorite memory from his time at NCHS was performing at football games with the marching band. In addition to missing his time as a member of the Normal Marching Band, he will miss spending time with his friends. In addition to serving in the Air National Guard, Andy will be attending Western Illinois University to major in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. Congratulations, Andy!
