  • Max Douglass’ favorite memory from his four years at Normal Community was attending the FBLA State Leadership Conference with his friends. He will also look back fondly on memories made with friends, including Muneeth Narra and the boys. During his time at NCHS, Max was involved with FBLA, Scholastic Bowl, co-founded Investing Club, and served as a Model United Nations officer. In the fall, Max will be attending Washington University in St. Louis to major in Beyond Boundaries within the Olin School of Business. Congratulations, Max!

  • Nikhil Samayam’s favorite memory from his time at NCHS came while performing a live rendition of the NCHS anthem with a group of his friends for extra credit in Mr. David Feeney’s AP English Literature class. He will also fondly look back on his lunch table second semester senior year, where he and his closest friends finally got to spend their free period during the day together. Though it may have been a shortened semester, Nikhil will look back fondly on those hours, which he called the best 50 minutes of each day. In addition to missing his friends from the TDC and RNA, Nikhil was widely involved. He served as NCHS FBLA Treasurer, and was also a leader within Peer Leadership and involved with Speech Team. In the fall, Nikhil will be attending Saint Louis University to major in Biomedical Engineering and minor in Psychology as a part of the Medical Scholars program. Congratulations, Nikhil!

  • Amith Hiremath’s favorite memories from his four years spent at Normal Community included spending time with close friends. During his time at NCHS, Amith served as Math Team treasurer, and was also involved with Cyberpatriot, the Varsity Ironmen Tennis program, the Iron Scholastic Bowl team, and a National Qualifier for NCHS Future Business Leaders of America. He will fondly look back on fun memories from tennis meets and scholastic bowl tournaments. This fall, Amith will be studying Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Congratulations, Amith!

  • Ishwar Ramesh will fondly look back on attending FBLA National Leadership Conferences from his time at NCHS, including NLC 2017 in Anaheim, NLC 2018 in Baltimore, and NLC 2019 in San Antonio. In addition to being a three time FBLA National Qualifier, Ishwar was involved with Model United Nations, Class Board, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and served as Math Team Co-President for two years. He will also fondly look back on time spent with the boys at NCHS. In the fall, Ishwar will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to major in Computer Science + Economics. Congratulations, Ishwar!

  • Sam Gustafson’s favorite memories from his time at Normal Community were spending time with the boys. Throughout his time at NCHS, he spent significant time with the boys as a co-founder of TDC. Sam was also involved with Mock Trial, Model United Nations, a National Qualifier with Future Business Leaders of America, and the Varsity Ironmen Track and Field program. In the fall, Sam will be attending the University of Florida to major in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience on a Pre-Law track, and is also a part of the Honors College and has been accepted into the Research Program. Congratulations, Sam!

  • Jerry Shi’s favorite memory from his four years at Normal Community was all the new people that he met. Jerry was a four year member of the Ironmen Soccer Program, including leading the team in scoring his senior year and making the All Big-12 Conference First Team as an unanimous selection. Off the pitch, he was involved with I-Club, Peer Leadership, Investing Club, Computer Club, Spanish Club, and Model United Nations. He will miss the memories made with the boys during his time at NCHS, as well as the fries from the cafeteria. In the fall, Jerry will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study Biology on a Pre-Med track. Congratulations, Jerry!

  • Muneeth Narra’s favorite high school memory was going on the Iron Tennis spring trip to Florida. As an Ironmen, Muneeth co-founded Investing Club, served on the Math Team leadership committee, and also participated in FBLA, Model UN, and the varsity Ironmen Tennis team. In the fall, Muneeth will be studying Finance and Information Science at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Congratulations, Muneeth!

  • Yash Gollapudi’s favorite memories from his time at Normal Community include attending Model United Nations at Illinois conferences during his first three years at NCHS. He will also fondly look back on all the dumb shenanigans he did with friends. As an Ironmen, Yash was involved with Model United Nations, Math Team, and Scholastic Bowl. In the fall, Yash will be studying Data Science at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Congratulations, Yash!

  • Jathin Nama’s favorite memory from his time at NCHS was playing on the Iron Tennis team with close friends. Off the court, Jathin co-founded Computer Science Honor Society and Coding Club, and was also involved with the Future Business Leaders of America. He will also fondly look back on the antics of friends like Muneeth Narra at FBLA conferences. In the fall, Jathin will be majoring in Statistics & Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign! Congratulations, Jathin!

  • Nick Kumar will fondly remember classes that he had at Normal Community with Mr. Kelly Keogh, especially due to his passion for making social studies topics come to life. Outside the classroom, Nick was involved with Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society. He will also look back on memorable moments made with the boys. In the fall, Nick will be attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst to major in Computer Science. Congratulations, Nick!

  • Dean Patten’s favorite high school memory came in a Ironmen Football IHSA playoff win against Reavis High School. During his time at NCHS, Dean was involved with the Iron Football program and Math Team. He will fondly remember time spent with the boys, as well as the unique environment of Normal Community. Next fall, Dean will be attending Northern Illinois University as a Presidential Scholar, double majoring in Accounting and Political Science. Congratulations, Dean!

  • Abhiru Raut’s favorite memory from his time at NCHS is winning Prom King during his junior year. Additionally, he will fondly look back on time spent with friends at Normal Community, including the boys. During his time at NCHS, Abhiru was involved with Chess Club, Technology Club, Not in Our School, Computer Club, Mock Trial, and was a National Qualifier for NCHS Future Business Leaders of America. In the fall, Abhiru will be attending Illinois State University, majoring in Business Information Systems. Congratulations, Abhiru!

  • During his time at Normal Community, Aniketh Balagonda served on the Math Team leadership committee, and was involved with CyberPatriot, Investing Club, and Future Business Leaders of America. His favorite high school memory was attending the 2019 FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio. Aniketh will fondly remember four years spent with great friends and the boys at NCHS. Next fall, Aniketh will be studying at the #2 ranked Engineering Physics program in the nation, within the Grainger School of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Congratulations, Aniketh!

  • Satya Garapati’s favorite memory from his four years at NCHS was going on a Spring Break trip to Alabama with the Ironmen Baseball team during his junior year. He will look back fondly on four years playing baseball, as well as the great friends he’s made at Normal Community. Off the field, Satya was involved with Math Team and CyberPatriot. In the fall, Satya will be attending Illinois State University as a Presidential Scholar, majoring in Cybersecurity. Congratulations, Satya!
